What are the pieces made of?
Laser-cut wood board (MDF or plywood, depending on the design) in several glued layers. The artwork and your text are UV-printed onto the surface; designs that show carving or wood grain are printed to look that way, they are not hand-carved. Imported.
How do I add names or a date?
Type them in the personalization box on the product page before adding to cart. We use exactly what you type — spelling, capitals and punctuation — so please check it. See the personalization guide for length limits and tips.
Will I see a proof?
We do not send a proof by default, because your text goes into a fixed layout shown in the photos. If you want to check something first, email support@oakmirahome.com right after ordering and we will hold production until you reply.
How long does delivery take?
Each piece is made to order: production takes 3–5 business days, then shipping takes 7–15 business days to the United States (10–20 business days in total) or 10–25 business days to other countries. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US public holidays.
Where does it ship from?
Pieces are made by our production partner in China and shipped from there with tracking; US parcels are delivered by USPS for the last leg. For US orders, import charges are already included in our price — there is nothing to pay on delivery.
How big is it?
The size options and measurements are listed on each product page. Measurements are the outer width and height of the finished piece and may vary by about 0.2 in (5 mm).
Will it look like the photos?
The first photo shows the actual design; the names in the photo are an example and are replaced with yours. Screens show color differently and wood tones vary, so allow for a small shift.
It arrived damaged or the text is wrong
Email a photo and your order number to support@oakmirahome.com within 30 days of delivery. If it is damaged, or the text differs from what you typed, we remake it or refund you in full, and you do not need to send it back.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes, free of charge until production starts — usually within 12 hours of ordering. Email us as soon as possible, including any change to the wording.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
Because every piece is made with your own names or text, personalized items cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faults, damage and our mistakes are always covered — see the refund policy.
What does shipping cost?
US$5.99 per order, to every country we ship to, and free on orders of US$69 or more after discounts.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. Checkout is hosted by Shopify over an encrypted connection and we never see your card number. See payment & security.
